Drum School consists in the development of

artistic potential and technical skills which include:

correct positioning of the hands and feet, classic and modern,

independence of the limbs,

timing – groove, patterns, points of resolution,

polyrhythms, odd beats, linear grooves,

melodic and rhythmic harmonic synthesis

with an approach applied by the "RhythmoSophy".

At the same time lessons are given in the knowledge of

different genres of music, including the tribal and ethnic music

which is the basis of World Music.

Pupils will experiment ensemble music with different drums.

The method of teaching includes the support of music videos,
ethnic, blues, jazz, rock, and comprises the whole music panorama

as an expression of the evolution of these fundamental genres

with the objective of developing knowledge

and a refined musical perception:

"to gain understanding of the soul of rhythm and melody means enrichment with the historical and emotional memory of a people, entering into their spirituality"
